Lesson Policies and Cost

Payment for lessons and ensemble should be made directly to the lesson and ensemble teacher. In some cases this means separate payments to different teachers. If you’re unsure about whom to pay for what, contact any one of us and we’ll get you in touch with the right person. We ask that all families pay by the semester.  If this presents a financial challenge for your family, please speak with us privately. 




Semester Costs:

Because of the varying number of days per year (ex. there are more Tuesdays than Fridays in the school year), the cost of lessons depends on the day of your child's assigned lesson time. Costs are based on the number of lessons per semester. Please submit payment to your teacher once your child's schedule is set.


Second Semester Private Lessons: $40/lesson 

Monday: $600/second semester

Tuesday: $640/second semester

Wednesday: $760/second semester 

Thursday: $720/second semester 

Friday: $720/second semester


Ensemble: $200/semester


Payment Options

Cash or Check: leave in Strings box in the office. 

Checks should be made out to Aaron Fried, Katherine Floriano, or Laura Mericle.

Attendance and Practice

Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons.  Daily practice is expected.


Cancellations and Makeups

While cancellations are at times unavoidable, we cannot refund these lessons.  If for any reason we need to cancel your lessons, we will certainly schedule a makeup.


Refunds and Credits

No refunds for missed lessons.  If we cancel a lesson, we will schedule a makeup.
